John Denver was a superstar singer who touched millions through his songs of pop-folk, many of which were based in Colorado. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. grew up in Roswell new Mexico, but fell in love Colorado. The singer-songwriter eventually moved to Aspen. Denver's national anthems to his adopted state have drawn many to Colorado. There isn't another performer that embodies Colorado as well as John Denver said G.
