Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actor who is employed in film and TV is most well-known for her roles in films such as Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Being the sole daughter of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu. Alexandra began her showbiz career as a child. She played lead roles in dramas on television as young as the age of 16. Her fame was due to her performance in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge.
